The Global Igbo Progress and Trust Alliance (GIPTA) is an international organization established to advance the collective progress, representation, and empowerment of the global Igbo community. Formed in 2025, GIPTA serves as a trusted institutional body dedicated to development, governance collaboration, cultural preservation, and strategic engagement across continents.

Founded in 2025, GIPTA represents a unified response to the growing need for an organized, globally coordinated Igbo institution. While newly established, it emerges from decades of community advocacy, cultural leadership, and diaspora influence.
